A Film By Aaron Hawks

About The Score
Scoring Dog Catcher was the ultimate excercise in film music as "art". The entire film is silent except for music. I made every sound in the film. Since there is no other sound to drive the scenes, or give them a sense of depth, the music score had a huge roll to play in defining these necessary things. Working with Aaron Hawks continues to be one of most interesting things about my musical life.

I wrote this score while I was attending UC Berkeley's Master's program in music composition. They weren't exactly pleased with me.
