A Film By Matthew Quezada
About The Score
This score was a joy to write, because I was able to adapt some of orchestral colors of Ravel and Debussy
which were made popular by Bernard Herrmann when he worked on the famous Hitchcock films. The score was recorded with
a full orchestra at Firehouse Studios in Pasadena, and I'm quite happy with the sound. One of most unique aspects of
the production was writing the song Kisses and Hatchets with director Matt Quezada. I wrote the music and melody, and
recorded myself humming the tune and the sent it to Matt and requested that he write some devilish lyrics in French.
He wrote them, and then came into the studio to record the vocal and did a great job. You can hear him singing in
the music list above.
